The smooth leather of our martin formal shoes is durable and known for being hard, the soft sheen of the firm leather makes these boots suitable for a variety of styles, but of course we can polish to a delicate sheen or subtly wear to your liking.

Care instructions

Wipe off dirt with a damp cloth. Apply shoe polish to the outside of the shoe to keep the leather soft, strong and smooth. Once dry, use a clean shoe brush to polish vigorously to desired gloss. Repeat regularly to prolong the life of the shoe.

To enhance the water repellency of your Edinburgh martin formal shoes, apply a protective shoe polish, such as the commercially available protective shoe polish, made from a unique blend of coconut oil, lanolin and beeswax, which protects the leather from water, liquids and salt stains. It also moisturizes the leather and helps prevent cracking. Also, make sure to give your martin boots a waterproof spray before you wear them for the first time, and make sure to dry them when they get wet, as prolonged exposure to water is bad for leather.
